Each year there is a whole slew of new, original holiday programming dominating the airwaves from Thanksgiving until New Years. Often they are simple, holiday-themed episodes of current shows, as well as re-airings of classic, and lately more modern classic, family-friendly films, and the handful of new made-for-TV movies they hope will someday make it into the modern classic category. Besides, there are hundreds of walks happening for hundreds of causes every year, but how many fundraising efforts get this creative?
